Eduardo Partida (1992) was born in the town of San Lorenzo Tezonco within the Iztapalapa municipality in Mexico City. Has studied with Germán Romero and Samuel Cedillo. His main focus of interest is the problematization of the body as a poetic, politic, and philosophical practice. In 2017 he founded, along with other mexican musicians, the Vorágines Collective: an alternative artistic platform dedicated to the creation and exhibition of diverse creative practices. Starting in September 2020 Eduardo will begin an MA by Research program in the University of Huddersfield in the United Kingdom with a research titled “The body as a sound-poetic practice” which will be tutored by Aaron Cassidy.
